Phoenix

This is a real statement piece.  The black and the gold are separated by a powerful gold detail.  I entitled it Phoenix as it conjures up the image of a phoenix rising in my mind.  The beauty with abstract art of course is that you can decide for yourself!  Another viewer said it reminded her of cornfields.  What do you see?
 
The painting was created with several layers.. the first being an acrylic base followed by layers of tinted resin which gives the painting an extraordinary sense of depth.   I hope it will give you many years of pleasure.
 
Resin is a high shine substance that has a reflective finish similar to glass.  It has an almost marble like quality to it.
