Golden Shores

This is one of a collection of paintings inspired by my enduring love of the sea.
 
I start by mapping out the colours with acrylic paint so that golden sands give way to shallow turquoise waters which in turn drift into the marine blue of the ocean deep.
Then the feeling of fluidity and movement is created through pouring multiple layers of tinted resin which has a marble like quality and gives the artwork an extraordinary sense of depth.
The original resin artwork is A5 size 
The mount is A4 size
