Abide

This abstract landscape is on a gessoed panel measuring 298 mm by 298mm.
 
The artwork is inspired by the beauty of the sea crashing over the rocks on our coastline. It could equally depict red boulders in far off places glowing in the sunset. What do you see? I have used terracotta, sienna, ember, slate, amethyst, citrus and espresso as my colour palette. The colours interact beautifully creating light and shade as they envelope each other.
 
The painting is cradled in a white bespoke frame 322 mm by 322mm.
