ALCOHOL INK ARTWORKS

The process

I create these artworks using alcohol ink on yupo paper. Yupo paper is a synthetic paper which is completely non absorbent so when I pour the alcohol ink it sits on top and then slowly evaporates over time and leaving beautiful marks which I then work into.    I love the juxtaposition between my intentional marks against the marks left by the fluid dynamics of evaporation.
